What’s for Breakfast? Try this Healthy Quinoa, Peanut Butter, and Banana Mash

Breakfast can be a real struggle for me. What I want to eat and what I should eat are two very different things.

That’s why I am constantly on a quest for yummy whole breakfast foods that are quick to fix and are healthy.

Check out my quinoa, peanut butter, and banana mash. It’s even 2-year old approved!

This easy breakfast recipe that will keep you full for hours.

Organic Quinoa, Peanut Butter, and Banana Mash

Quinoa, Banana, & Peanut Butter

  • 1 organic banana
  • 1/2 cup of organic quinoa
  • 1 tablespoon of organic peanut butter (either creamy or chunky and NO SALT)

Cook the quinoa according to package instructions.

Mash all three ingredients together. Enjoy!

Nutrition Information

1/2 cup quinoa: 140 calories, 2.5 grams fat, protein 5 grams, fiber 3 grams, and sugars 1 gram

1 tablespoon peanut butter: 100 calories, 7.5 grams fat, protein 8 grams, fiber 3 grams, and sugars 2 grams.

1 medium banana: 105 calories, 0.4 grams fat, 1.3 grams protein, 3.1 grams protein, and sugars 14 grams. You also get vitamin B-6, C, and a little bit of iron and vitamin A.
