Eight Easy Christmas Ornaments That You Can Make With Your Kids

December Crafts for Kids

Christmas is one of my favorite times of the year and I love to decorate! We put our Christmas decorations up the day after Thanksgiving and always have fun doing it.

We are always looking for December crafts for kids that we can create together.

As building family memories is so important to me we made lots of ornaments for our tree.

Here are eight different ornaments that we made with instructions and a supply list.

I’ll be frank. I first starting making ornaments with my kids because I wanted them to be able to touch them and not worry about breaking them. So we made a bunch of different ornaments together. And now they are frankly, the most precious ones of all to us!

Here are nine ornaments you can make together.

I have included a supplies’ list with each ornament that will take you to Amazon if you click on the link. You can also find all of these supplies at craft stores like Michaels.

Please note that I recommend attaching Christmas ornament hooks with a glue gun. I did this for my younger kids as you can easily burn yourself with this tool. I’ve tried using a ton of elmer’s glue instead but I find that it doesn’t hold up as well as the glue gun.
